We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join a well-established composites manufacturer based in Poole. This is a full-time, permanent role working on-site. You'll play a key part in making sure products meet customer standards, leading quality checks, solving problems, and improving processes.

Salary: From £45,000 per year Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm Friday: 8am - 2pm On-site only DBS check required

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with Engineering and Production to plan and manage quality checks. Make sure customer quality standards are understood and followed. Lead quality inspections and sign off on finished products. Manage and fix any issues with product quality. Carry out First Article Inspections (FAIRs) to customer or AS9102 standards. Review and report on quality data to improve processes. Ensure the business follows ISO 9001 standards. Manage and support a Quality Inspector on your team.

What We're Looking For

AS9100 experience required Experience in a manufacturing quality role (composites is a plus). Able to read technical drawings and use inspection tools. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, Lean, and root cause analysis. Confident with Microsoft Office and working under pressure. Strong teamwork and leadership skills. CQI qualification is a bonus.
