Mpeople have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join the expanding team of our well-established client based in the Tameside area. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, successful candidates will undergo 3 years of references and a DBS check. Role: Quality Engineer Location: Dukinfield Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Hours: 8am to 5pm, with an early finish on Fridays. Compressed hours available. Duties as Quality Engineer will include but not be limited to: * Taking part in business reviews * Analysing data and investigating and responding to non-conformances * Regularly liaising with internal and external customers and suppliers * Develop and maintain standard worksheets * Maintaining calibration equipment and devices * Regular calibration checks * Focus on New Product Information start right activity * Support regulatory and customer compliance audits * Providing training and support RCCA workshops * Support quality improvement and reduce waste etc * Generating and monitoring FMEA, control panels and data * Responsible for the quality of all products * Generating QMS procedures, instructions and inspection plans * Use of QA tools: NCRs / 8W / RCCA The successful Quality Engineer will possess the following skills: * Experience as a Quality Engineer within aerospace, nuclear or similar setting * Knowledge ...
