This role is critical in ensuring that their complex marine handling systems meet strict quality, safety, and compliance standards throughout the design, manufacturing, and delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce and maintain welding and painting documentation in accordance with customer specifications, classification society requirements, and international standards. Support the creation and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), including coordination of inspection points, hold/witness stages, and sign-off processes. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Project Management to ensure quality requirements are defined and integrated throughout the design and production lifecycle. Support the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, including root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys). Act as a quality representative during Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), customer inspections, and third-party verification activities. Analyse quality performance data to identify trends, support continuous improvement initiatives, and escalate risks or issues where appropriate. Support compliance with the business management system and promote alignment with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) standards and procedures. Support BOM Creation, Gated Design Reviews, and the Product Introduction Processes.
