Our client, an established component and parts manufacturing company, is currently recruiting a Quality Engineer to join their quality team for a 12 month FTC. The Quality Engineer will be responsible supporting the Business and Customer in all Quality aspects, both current and new production plus develop and improve the business, with a focus on Quality, Cost and Delivery.

Key Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer:

Customer Complaint Resolution: Responsible for all aspects of complaint resolution including customer/internal communication, root cause analysis (8D) & corrective action implementation Audit: conduct internal audit to the required standards (e.g. AS9100, NADCAP), support/host external audit and customer visits, complete/support non-conformance reports and implementation of corrective actions NPI: Responsible for all quality aspects of New Product Introduction including use of appropriate tools where required (e.g. PPAP, FMEA, APQP), production of First Article Inspection Reports, customer communication, resolution of issues, creation of route cards and supporting documentation Process Improvement: conduct data analysis, support selection of improvement activities, lead and support application of appropriate improvement toolset (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, RCA etc)
