Thrive Oldham are recruiting a Quality Engineer for our well established client in the Merthyr South Wales Area Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer Reporting to: Quality and Technical Manager Overview You will be required to support all functions within the quality department and on occasions requested to support other activities within the business. This position requires flexibility and adaption to change towards continuous improvement, whilst working with other departments in a teamwork environment. There will be a requirement to project manage and control processes and documentation to international and customer standards/specifications. Periodically you may be requested to travel to support the business. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Perform system, process and supplier audits. Manage system and product audits from external bodies and customers. Supporting the companies KPI's to achieve the desired results. Conduct regular quality review meetings. Support and guide the team with customer complains / returns / process issues using 8D analysis techniques to determine root cause, corrective and prevention actions.
