Quality Engineer - Electronics Manufacturing Location: Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys, Wales An excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer based in Powys, Wales to join a well-established UK-based manufacturer and distributor of high-reliability electronic components. This is a hands-on role, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained across production, supply chain, and customer delivery. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with experience in a certified quality environment, who is confident working across departments and with suppliers to uphold ISO and customer-specific requirements. Main Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer based in Powys, Wales: Maintain ISO 9001 and AS9120 certification requirements and procedures Support and carry out customer and supplier audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up Conduct quality checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods Investigate and report non-conformances, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions Maintain and update quality-related documentation and records Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure components and processes meet specifications Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business Ensure compliance with CECC/BS, ISO, and customer requirements Requirements of the Quality Engineer based in Powys, Wales: Previous experience in a quality assurance or engineering role within electronics, manufacturing, or another regulated industry Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9120, or equivalent quality management systems Skilled in the use of inspection tools and quality documentation processes Strong written and verbal communication skills Methodical and organised approach to problem-solving and record-keeping Familiarity with CECC, BS, or UK defence standards (advantageous) To apply for this Quality Engineer role based in Powys, Wales, please send your CV to:
