Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Rochester, Kent - On-site + travel (UK & International)

Role Type: Permanent

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience

Our client, an established aerospace engineering firm, require an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join their multi-disciplined team.

What the role of the Supplier Quality Engineer entails:

Some of the main duties of the Supplier Quality Engineer will include:

Developing a framework to ensure the continued supply of Quality parts from our international supply chain which will support and deliver the functional objective to continuously improve supply chain quality Working in conjunction with procurement, Quality and Programme teams to proactively identify and address supply chain quality issues and drive continuous improvement activities Continually reduce the number of defects during the manufacturing cycle through improved supplied quality Supporting and executing risk-based annual audit plan, prepare, execute, measure and monitor and ensure timely closure of findings Improving supplier performance and Quality capability Overseeing and approving First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) proactively within the Supply chain Following up on any Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) to ensure effectivity of preventative action International and UK travel is required for this role
