Quality Engineer

We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our KierBAM Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall based in Plymouth, Devon.
Location: Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth, Devon. Can offer some working from home.
Hours: Permanent, Full Time
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer, you'll be working within the nuclear team, supporting them in delivering the redevelopment project at the Dockyard.
Your day to day will include:
- Assisting in the undertaking on-site investigation of specific quality problems and participate in their resolution.
- Ensuring that on-site supply chain partners maintain a robust documented Quality Management System that meets the requirements of the Works Information and supports self-certification.
- Assisting the construction team with the review and effective implementation of ITPs, supply chain quality plans, quality control procedures, quality improvement plans and ensuring that the closeout of NCRs, CARs and observations is undertaken in a compliant and timely manner.
- Presenting quality training modules to KBJV and supply chain staff.
- Liaising between the KBJV delivery team and the Client regarding the timing of Hold and Witness inspections and Surveillance activities.

This role of Quality Engineer is great for you if:
- Academic Qualifications – Electrical or Mechanical or Plumbing Engineering, Quality, Construction related Qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng)
- ECS / CSCS Cards - PQP/AQP
