Quality Engineer Urgently required to work for a world leading manufacturing organisation based near Oxford. This role is key to the business where you will be required to deliver professional quality engineering service to the business with primary focus on Manufacturing Quality control requirements.
We are looking for an experienced quality engineer ideally with a background of precision engineering/ manufacturing ideally from aerospace or subcontract machining environments. You will have the ability to interpret complex mechanical engineering drawings and determine appropriate measuring techniques with the ability to produce credible inspection and associated reports.
Responsibilities:
Liaising with Customers and Suppliers on quality related issues Manufacturing liaison and reporting shortfalls to Manufacturing supervision. Training Operators in all aspects of inspection techniques and equipment. Preparation of inspection equipment work instruction. Assisting in effective management of the measurement and test equipment Translation of Customer quality requirements into detailed Manufacturing instructions. Compiling routine final inspection trend analysis and reports. Managing Non-Conformances and Customer Complaints through 8Ds/5Whys Supplier audits including reporting and recommendations.
