Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and evolve QMS: Develop and improve quality documentation and systems.
* Map and improve processes: Launch and drive end-to-end process mapping to identify quality enhancements.
* Resolve quality issues: Manage non-conformance reports, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
* Oversee rework and materials: Coordinate on-site reworks and order necessary parts.
* Ensure audit readiness: Prepare for, host, and report on external audits to ensure compliance.
* Support supplier quality: Assist with supplier visits and reports alongside the QESH team.
* Promote quality culture: Drive QESH principles across the organization.
* Ensure action closure: Track and close all quality-related actions.
* Manage documentation: Maintain and communicate technical files and specs.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience as a systems-based quality engineer.
* Manufacturing experience is essential.
* Experience in process development and improvement.
* Lean experience.
* Previous involvement in third-party audits.
* Familiarity with 8D, 5Y, Lean, and Office 365.
* ISO 9001 internal auditor or lead auditor certification.
* A full, valid UK driving licence is required for regular site visits.
