Overview

Quotations Engineer, Stroud. Permanent. Competitive salary plus benefits. Quotations Engineer required by a leading manufacturing company, based in Stroud. The successful Quotations Engineer will be responsible for creating quotations and bid packages whilst ensuring financial and technical compliance to customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and interpreting customer enquiries.
• Preparing and managing quotations using ERP systems, MS Office, and electronic systems.
• Reviewing customer enquiries and providing clear, accurate responses.
• Maintaining quotation registers, document management, and clarification logs.
• Organising and coordinating RFQ-related meetings.
• Developing robust cost models and ensuring commercial accuracy.
• Supporting value engineering, upselling, and margin review activities.
• Reviewing purchase orders against quotations and assisting with contracts.
• Engaging with stakeholders and customers, supporting meetings and reviews.

Qualifications

• A background within a similar role, ideally gained within a manufacturing or engineering or equivalent environment.
• Strong experience in technical bid writing.
• Solid commercial awareness and costing/data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication abilities.
