Job Description: SISS Station Systems Technician Level 4

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.
Station System Technician Responsibilities:
- Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification for CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
- Attend to planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Ensure SISS assets are maintained and station communication faults are reported and resolved.
- Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
- Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion.
Candidate Profile:
This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. The Level 4 Technician will benefit from experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical systems.
- Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
- Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
