Our TRUE values - Trust, Respect, Unity, and Empowerment.About The RoleWorking Days: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00We are looking for a skilled and motivated Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our mobile technical services team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and some installation works of a wide range of air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems across commercial sites.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and repairs on: Split air conditioning systems; VRV/VRF systems; Air Handling Units (AHUs) and heat pumps; Commercial refrigeration equipment (chilled cabinets, multidecks and light commercial systems).Diagnose faults and perform repairs on F-Gas infrastructure, electrical, and mechanical components, ensuring systems are restored to full functionality.Work in accordance with industry regulations, technical standards, and manufacturer guidelines. Ensure all work complies with F-Gas & ODS regulations, Permit to Work procedures, and Health & Safety protocols.Record service documentation, inspection reports, maintenance logs, and remedial work using handheld devices (PDA or mobile apps).Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and minimal disruption to operations. Work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively within a small, supportive team.Participate in the emergency on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support as part of our 24/7, 365-day service commitment.RequirementsTime-served apprenticeship in Air Conditioning/RefrigerationCity & Guilds Level 2/3 NVQ or equivalent in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical EngineeringF-Gas & ODS Regulations (Category 1 – 2079)Proven experience in a Maintenance or Facilities Management environmentHands-on experience with air conditioning and refrigeration systemsFamiliarity with split, VRV & VRF systemsUnderstanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practicesFamiliarity with Permit to Work systemsComfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and performing manual tasksCompetent in using handheld devices for reporting and communicationStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, reliable, and solution-focusedFull UK driving licenceHow To ApplyIf you are interested in joining a business that encourages professional development, career progression and the chance to work with inspirational people, please click apply and register your interest.
