Our client, who specialises in industrial and marine solutions, is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their team. Theyre focus is on providing tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of their clients and have built a reputation for excellence in the industry.

On Offer:25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell up to 5 additional days, door-to-door pay structure, overtime rates of 1.5x or 2x, 3x for bank holiday, company pension with up to 7% matching, company vehicle available for personal use, health insurance and care scheme, company bonus.

As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality refrigeration and air conditioning solutions to our client's diverse customer base. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and servicing a wide range of large scale commercial, industrial and marine refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the commissioning of new refrigeration systems
  • Carry out upgrades and modifications to existing systems
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a variety of refrigeration systems
  • Diagnose and rectify system faults
  • Complete accurate service reports and commissioning paperwork
  • Participate in an on-call rota for emergency breakdowns
  • Work on heavy commercial refrigeration systems, CO2, HFC, and glycol-based systems
  • Interpret technical drawings

Who Theyre Looking For:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in large scale commercial refrigeration
  • F-Gas Category 1 certification (mandatory)
  • Experience with CO2 refrigeration systems
  • City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
