COMPANY OVERVIEW Our client is a one of the largest commercial refrigeration engineering companies in the UK, with offices in all the major cities. This allows them to successfully support nationwide contracts and the needs of their clients. The successful applicant will have refrigeration experience in the maintenance, servicing, installation, and commissioning of a heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration and FGAS plants, some with CO2 units. Due to new contract wins., our client is looking for a refrigeration with good commercial experience to manage their South Wales region from Chepstow to Haverfordwest JOB PURPOSE Carry out refrigeration, reactive & proactive works, in line with the client's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)and key performance indicators. JOB DUTIES Collecting and fitting parts as directed by the Senior Engineer / Operations Manager. Diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns. Using client systems. Carrying out calls as allocated by Service Control. Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely way. Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way. Working safely in line with health and safety procedures. Shift patterns to be discussed on interview 4-5 shifts per week.
JOB RESPONSBILITIES Building strong working relationships with customers and colleagues. A fundamental member of a multi-discipline team, who deliver safe reactive and proactive maintenance to a very high standard on a number of contracts. Working with your line manager to achieve the contract goals and KPI's. Working with your team to ensure that all members of the team deliver to the highest standard possible Positive working relationships with stakeholders, keeping the client updated on the progress of the work and the likely repair times Working in line with our H&S standards and processes Meeting H&S and Quality targets Working in line with other business standards, policies and procedures, including People & Development, Fleet, Stock etc. Accurate use of IT systems, both for Space Engineering and customers as required, ensuring timely, relevant and accurate information is available Positive driving habits, as captured and required through our Fleet Management Tools
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Experience working on retail/ supermarket contacts Experience with working on; refrigeration and alarm systems, air conditioning and building controls, food factory equipment and general equipment A ‘F-GAS 2079 Refrigerant Handling' qualification. CO2 experience desirable, although official training given and certified qualification offered. Excellent attitude and approach to work. Highly self-reliant, motivated and enthusiastic. Approachable, open and able to work as part of a team. Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills. Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
