Reliability and Calibrations Engineer

OverviewFM Conway is currently looking to recruit a Reliability and Calibrations Engineer to join our Aggregates and Asphalt division. You will play a key role in improving plant reliability, uptime and compliance. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be required to work remotely covering our Asphalt Plants in Erith, Heathrow, Reading, Theale, Aldershot, Croydon and Newhaven.ResponsibilitiesSupporting the safe execution of maintenance tasks including inspections, preventive, predictive and reactive workCarrying out compliance checks, inspection regimes and calibrations of weights, levels, pressures and temperatures of instrumentationCompleting condition based monitoring, vibration analysis and reporting findings with clear recommendationsUndertaking installation, fault-finding and repair tasks for both electrical and mechanical systemsContributing to the development and operation of a digital CMMS and reliability systemsAssisting in engineering projects from feasibility through to commissioning and handoverLeading by example on health and safety, including risk assessments, isolations, and LOTOTO proceduresSkills and experienceExperience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within process plant environments, with knowledge of conveyors, pumps, motors, pneumatics and hydraulicsConfidence with safe isolation, LOTOTO procedures, compliance checks and condition monitoringA Level 3 engineering qualification is essentialA full UK driver’s licence is also requiredBenefitsCareer and professional development23 days holiday plus bank holidaysLife assurance, enhanced maternity payOpportunities for internal and external trainingAccess to a wide range of shopping discounts through our Rewarding Great People platformHealth and well-being benefits including 24-hour advice lines and support from in-house mental health first aidersAbout FM Conway and our Aggregates and Asphalt DivisionFM Conway is a business of families with over 60 years’ experience of creating sustainable and innovative transportation solutions.
