Total Spectrum are currently recruiting a skilled Reliability & Compliance Engineer (EC&I) to join the team at one of our clients, a COMAH site based in the Bradford area.
The successful candidate will support the ongoing reliability, compliance, and integrity of electrical, control, and instrumentation systemsensuring safe, efficient, and regulation-compliant operations.You'll also be required to respond to breakdowns, lead fault investigations, propose reliability improvements, and support project deliveryall while helping to embed a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
Duties:

• Manage day-to-day EC&I reliability issues and lead fault diagnosis and root cause analysis
• Propose and support asset improvement initiatives in line with site reliability strategy
• Manage spares and supply chain for EC&I systems to reduce downtime risk
• Support small project delivery, CAPEX justifications, and contractor interfaces
• Analyse maintenance data (SAP) to track asset performance and support long-term planning
• Ensure compliance with COMAH regulations, safety protocols, and documentation standards

• Degree or HNC/HND in EC&I Engineering (or related discipline)
• Experience in EC&I roles within process or chemical manufacturing (COMAH preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and electrical protection
• Familiarity with SAP and reliability-focused methodologies (e.g., RCA, FMEA)
• A collaborative, safety-first mindset with excellent communication skills

• Competitive base salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
