The role is based in the Birmingham area and offers a salary in the region of £45,000+, along with 33 days annual leave, flexible working hours and excellent long-term development potential.
Reliability Engineer responsibilities include -
Leading reliability reviews across product design, manufacturing, and customer applications.
Driving root cause investigations and 8D reporting for reliability and field performance issues.
Managing FMEA and FRACAS processes to identify risks and embed lessons learned.
Coordinating cross-functional actions with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
Developing and tracking reliability metrics, reporting on risks, actions, and closure status.
Engaging with customers through reports, presentations, and on-site technical meetings.
Supporting design and NPI activities with reliability data and service experience feedback.Reliability Engineer desirable skills and experience -
Experience working within a similar role (Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer etc).
Proven background in root cause analysis, 8D methodology, FMEA and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and data-driven failure analysis.
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with customers and cross-functional teams.Reliability Engineer benefits include -
