Requirements & Certification Systems Engineer Up to £55,000 | Bristol – Hybrid, 2-4 days onsite
A leading defence programme is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support the evolution of an advanced air defence weapon system. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking technology, shaping requirements, design assurance, and certification across multiple system domains.
The successful candidate will work closely with diverse stakeholders, translating operational needs into detailed system specifications, supporting technical mediation, and ensuring compliance with design and performance standards. The role involves applying strong problem-solving skills and technical communication to drive system development effectively.
Candidates should have a solid background in requirements analysis, systems proving and certification, and experience developing complex defence systems. Familiarity with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, DOORS NG, or Rhapsody is advantageous, as is a delivery-focused approach and the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
Due to the nature of work at our client’s site, these vacancies are only open to British Citizens or Dual UK nationals who hold SC clearance or can obtain it.
