Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience
Hybrid Working: On average 3 days per week on-site due to workload
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG BPSS checks after the offer stage, managed by the MBDA Security Team.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking an RF Communications DSP Engineer to join our Data Link Systems team. You will be responsible for waveform and algorithm design, development, and implementation for weapon system products, spanning research to validation.
You should have a solid understanding of DSP algorithms, theory, and techniques at a systems level. The role involves autonomous work within a multi-skilled team, technical investigations, problem-solving, and proposing design solutions. This is an exciting area within MBDA with opportunities to work on both new and existing products.
We consider flexible working patterns for this role.
What we're looking for:
- Experience with real-time digital signal processing systems
- Knowledge of waveform design and implementation
- Proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink
- Systems modelling and auto-code generation
- Firmware coding (Verilog/VHDL)
- Implementation of DSP algorithms on hardware
- Experience with C++
- Understanding RF communications in congested EM environments
- Requirements management and systems design skills
- Technical leadership abilities
- Strong communication skills for reports and presentations
- Comfort with virtual and face-to-face collaboration
