We are looking for a Solutions Engineer, reporting directly to the UK Sales Manager. The Technical Solutions Engineer is a technical expert with in-depth knowledge of the defense market, associated applications, equipment, and a strong understanding of the company’s products and technologies. This role is cross-functional, covering all entities within the group. The Technical Solutions Engineer plays a key role in developing sales by providing technical expertise to clients and building trusted relationships with them.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical support and expertise to sales
• Conducting technical demonstrations, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving technical issues
• Identifying potential synergies between different entities based on targeted applications
• Acting as the interface between local technical support teams, sales teams, and customers to understand needs and present tailored solutions
• Collaborating with internal teams such as Field Application Engineers (FAE) and Product Managers to ensure solutions are feasible and meet customer requirements
• Contributing to product roadmaps of different Business Units
• Providing market information to the Defense Market Manager
• Sharing data on competition, customer needs, programs, and stakeholders with the Business Units

The Profile

Your Assets

You have a dual engineering and commercial background with over 10 years of experience.

Background in Radio Frequency and Optical connectivity technologies.

English native speaker; French language skills are a plus.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Willingness to travel at least 30% for customer meetings and opportunity development.

This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work partly remotely and from the office. Candidates should ideally be based within the Home Counties.
