Robotics Technician- Electronics, Mechanical & Mechatronic


We’re working with a pioneering robotics company developing intelligent systems designed to operate in the real world. As part of their continued growth, they’re looking for a hands-on Robotics Technician to join the team and help turn bold ideas into real, working machines.


This role will suit someone who’s practical, curious, and happiest when surrounded by tools & prototypes. You’ll be right at the centre of the action — assembling, testing, and maintaining robotic systems while keeping the workshop running smoothly.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Assembling and integrating mechanical and electronic systems
  • Operating 3D printers and machining or fabricating custom parts
  • Designing and building test rigs for hardware and subsystems
  • Troubleshooting hardware issues on live builds
  • Maintaining workshop tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Managing procurement and keeping projects moving on time


Must-Have Skills


  • Experience with electronics and hardware assemblies
  • Confident using 3D printers, machining, and general workshop tools
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Proven experience building or testing hardware prototypes
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to managing a lab or workshop


Nice to Have


  • Exposure to robotics, automation, or mechatronic systems
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
  • Understanding of motors, sensors, or embedded systems
  • Awareness of workshop and lab safety procedures
