production of two new or updated Equipment Safety Case Reports (SCRs)
in support of critical UK submarine programmes.
Assessment of the safety of each equipment grouping, identifying measures to achieve an
As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP)
position.
Evaluation of tolerability levels
Recording of safety arguments
Reports delivered in accordance with DMR 2025 edition
Demonstrated alignment with
Whole Submarine Safety Cases
and
Platform Safety Case Reports
relevant to current operational fleets.
Confirmation that the PEDT equipment analysed within scope is
safe to operate .
Hazard Identification & Risk Management: Conduct
HAZID workshops .
Produce
Hazard Logs
for each equipment group, covering intrinsic hazards, risk management processes, controls, and mitigations.
