Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience

An outstanding opportunity awaits a seasoned Safety & Reliability Engineer to join our client, a leading defence company, where you will leverage your expertise in safety engineering to contribute to technologically sophisticated projects.

The Safety and Reliability Engineer Role:

As part of a dynamic team, you will have direct involvement in the development of systems from concept to delivery, ensuring safety and reliability are prioritised. You will be responsible for constructing robust safety and reliability cases, optimising both assurance efforts and cost constraints without compromising on essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrate hazard analysis and safety evaluation with the system engineering process.
Produce and deliver supporting documentation such as Safety Case Reports and Hazard Analysis.
Plan, analyse, and test reliability throughout development phases.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment, enhancing effective communication and influence.

What We're Looking For:

Candidates should possess a detailed understanding of safety and reliability within complex electronic systems, alongside proven analytical skills. A degree in a relevant field is preferred, and experience in UK and International system engineering processes is advantageous.
