Sales Engineer - Japanese Bilingual Preferred

Position: Sales Engineer

Job Location: Northern MA (preferred) | Remote considered for candidates in Northeast (PA/NY/NJ) or Midwest

Salary: $80K~$110K (Open to negotiate depending on your experience)

A leading Japanese manufacturer of Graphite Materials for semiconductor applications is seeking a Sales Engineer to join its growing U.S. team. This role emphasizes customer support and relationship building, with opportunities to work across diverse industries and product lines. Responsibilities

• Develop new customer relationships in alignment with strategic company direction through solution based sales
• Conduct market research to identify trends and new growth opportunities
• Support global sales teams with common local and international customers
• Support and expand share in existing customer base
• Provide technical support for customers
• Travel as needed with a focus on Mid-West and East Coast territories
• Effectively communicate customer’s needs to the Manufacturing and Engineering groups for both new and revised designs
• Provide weekly updates on customer projects and sales metrics
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 4-year college degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related studies
• Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer
• Worked in the semiconductor industry in either process or applications support
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to lead effective customer meetings
• Basic understanding of manufacturing drawings and GD&T
• Japanese language skills are desired but not necessary.
