Overview

This is a full-time hybrid role for an internal Sales Engineer located in Salisbury, with some flexibility for remote work. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating quotations, providing technical support, and engaging in sales activities. The role involves understanding customer requirements, preparing accurate and timely quotes, and assisting the sales team in achieving targets. Daily tasks will include communicating with clients, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other departments to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Generate quotations and provide technical support.
• Engage in sales activities and understand customer requirements.
• Prepare accurate and timely quotes.
• Assist the sales team in achieving targets.
• Communicate with clients, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with other departments to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role within the UK.
• Experience in preparing quotations and providing technical support.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience in the instrumentation or flow measurement industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of process signals such as pulse, 4-20mA, Modbus, M-bus.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
