A renowned manufacturer of special-purpose equipment, with a long-standing reputation and national presence, is embarking on an exciting new programme of development. To support this growth, they are seeking a Sales Engineer / Executive to play a pivotal role in driving sales revenue and contributing to the company's ambitious growth targets. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected business at a key stage of its development and help shape its future success.

Role & Responsibilities:

This is a new role, combining office-based business development with digital sales and occasional customer visits. You will be responsible for building new pipelines, re-engaging lapsed accounts, and driving growth through digital channels.

Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across both divisions. Make outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to generate leads and win work. Re-engage lapsed customers and build strong relationships with trade and manufacturing clients. Manage and support digital marketing campaigns (AdWords, Shopify optimisation, Marketplace listings, targeted email outreach). Visit potential customers to present products and build long-term relationships. Work closely with technical teams to deliver accurate quotations and tailored solutions. Meet and exceed agreed sales targets.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Proven B2B sales experience (ideally in construction, trade supplies, engineering, or industrial products). Confident in both telephone and face-to-face sales. Proactive, self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage your own pipeline. Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools (Shopify, AdWords, email platforms) desirable. Full UK driving licence essential.
