Overview An exciting opportunity to join a well-established, family-run business in Spalding as a Sales Engineer. This full-time, permanent role suits someone with a strong sales background, ideally within an engineering environment, who enjoys combining technical knowledge with client-facing work. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise to support the sale of complex products and services, guiding clients from initial enquiry to final sale. Work independently to manage your sales pipeline and contribute to driving business growth. Travel to meet prospects and conduct site surveys. Prepare detailed quotations and technical reports. Create and analyse tenders. Forecast and analyse sales targets. Negotiate and finalise sales, including terms and conditions. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Qualifications
Proven track record in sales with experience managing your own diary. Ideally, previous experience within the engineering sector/environment. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to produce reports and work with CRM systems. Proficiency in MS Office. Full UK driving licence.
