The Opportunity:
Sea Ceptor is a very successful, growing, innovative, high profile maritime air defence system that has secured multiple UK and export contracts. Pivotal to these roles is enabling the delivery of Sea Ceptor to multiple customers concurrently, whilst managing adaptations for an increasing number of export customers.
This role is within the Systems Design & Verification team, delivering Verification activities to support multiple customers (both export and domestic) within Sea Ceptor. This will consist of task planning, budgeting and management to ensure the activities are completed on time, cost and quality.
Individual may be involved in:
Support to, and the review of, Subsystem evidence and outputs to enable Systems activities.
Non-compliance , maintenance and reporting.
Certification and Modification Register maintenance and reporting.
Task management of Verification and Validation Activities
Support to the of documentation (e.g. Trials Requirement Documents and Product Trials Clearance Certificates) and closure of Reviews (e.g. Regression Test Panels) to enable trials and evidence collation to occur.
Support to System level compliance evidence and certification, including of System Verification documentation e.g. Compliance Matrices and Certificates of Design
What we're looking for:
An appreciation of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, specifically with proven experience in formal verification and certification processes;
A keen delivery focus, enabled by an ability to work proactively and flexibly across a number of variant programmes for which relative priorities can change quickly;
An ability to respond quickly when programme priorities change;
An effective team player with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, essential to working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and in building cohesion in the relationships between the Systems team and various interfacing teams;
Knowledge in the use of DOORS is required.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British or a Dual UK with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
