Job Title: Body Interior Seating Lead Engineer Location: Coventry, West Midlands Job Type: Contract (Inside IR35) Duration: 6 Months Job Summary: As a Seating Systems Engineer within the Body and Chassis team, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of seating systems across various vehicle platforms, ensuring performance, safety, comfort, and aesthetics from concept through to production. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of interior seating systems and sub-systems for new programmes and model year actions. Build CAD concepts, define interfaces, and manage CAD updates/releases.

Oversee developments through to component sign-off, delivering to cost, quality, weight, and timing targets. Develop and implement efficient design processes. Deliver CAD geometry and functional requirements through the Virtual Series Phase on time. Coordinate FEA/CAD/TEST activities for both in-house and outsourced development. Collaborate with AVA team to update core AVA models. Lead Evidence Based Engineering Reviews with BCE Tech Centre groups.
