We're looking for an Assistant Materials Engineer to join our KierBAM Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall based in Plymouth, Devon.
Location : Site Based, Plymouth, Devon
Hours : Permanent, Full Time
What will you be responsible for?
As an Assistant Materials Engineer, you'll be working within the Nuclear team, supporting them in delivering the redevelopment project at the Dockyard.
Your day to day will include: Review of requirements from Works Information, SCEWs; design materials specifications; MCRs; Coordination of materials specifications, ITP requirements and supply chain materials management during mobilization and works execution; Development of templates for testing and technical assurance (TA); Engagement with supply chain/ subcontractors, support of engineering, procurement, and construction teams; Understand the Client and Joint Venture Partners' Environment and Sustainability Policies, Processes and statutory requirements as they affect the company's operations and ensure that the requirements, as applicable within their discipline, are implemented on the project.
