Are you an experienced Electronic Security Design Engineer looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading security solutions provider based in Preston, working on cutting-edge projects across the North West and occasionally nationwide.

The Role

As a Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the full lifecycle of electronic security system design – from initial site surveys through to the development of detailed technical drawings and final design documentation. You’ll work on projects up to £1 million in value, ensuring the delivery of innovative, compliant, and cost-effective security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site surveys and assess client requirements.

Interpret and produce technical drawings and system schematics.

Design integrated electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, etc.).

Work closely with project teams to ensure technical accuracy and project success.

Support bid and tender processes with design input and technical documentation.

Liaise with suppliers, clients, and subcontractors.
