About the role
As part of the wider Security Systems Engineer team, you will be well supported by our friendly and well organised office team in the installation, servicing and repairing a range of fire and security systems within customers premises to the appropriate quality standards, specifically - Intruder Alarm, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control Systems, including Gates and Barriers. Our engineer role provides a professional customer service experience to all customers. You will be eager make your mark on this role, and looking for a long term, permanent role in a well-established and very reputable Stamford based family company. The duties include:
- Installing, servicing and maintaining a range of Electronic Fire and Security Systems within customer premises to the appropriate standards and regulations and in line with company policies
- Undertake all tasks with high quality assurance levels
- Complete all paperwork/mobile platform software on time and in line with company policies
- Act in a professional manner with customers at all times and feedback any queries to the office immediately
- Ensure all tools, equipment and vehicles are kept well-maintained, clean and tidy at all times
- Respond to emergency calls (on a rota) as required to ensure the company provides a first-class service to customers on a 24/7 basis, flexible working is paramount to align with business demand
- Undertake any training that is required by the company to ensure the very best service and installation
- Comply with the policies and procedures of the company, including health and safety and HR processes
- Comply with any reasonable requests of the management

- To act as an ambassador/role model for Anglo is celebrating everything we do
- Attend meetings, training and professional updating as and when required
- To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection where appropriate and due to the confidential nature of our business
- Be aware of the Anglos policies, procedures & best practice so that concerns of non-compliance can be raised at all times
- Seek advice & guidance if required ensuring employees and processes work seamlessly together
- Be responsible for reporting any H&S concerns
About you:
You will be an experienced security systems engineer but will be fully supported in your induction and additional training, ensuring you’ll be an integral and successful part of the team.
Due to the nature of our business the successful applicant will be required to be security screened/police checked.

Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the installation of security systems
- Knowledge of a range of manufacturers and willing to learn new systems
Skills and personal attributes
- Able to pass security screening, referencing and DBS check due to security levels of our services
- Customer service orientated, meticulously organised
- A self-starter with a can-do, helpful attitude
- A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is essential
- A completer-finisher – ensuring all work is professionally completed
- High level of integrity and discretion due to the nature of our business
- You will be flexible and able to work within a small, friendly, supportive team
- Diligence to ensure work is completed to the highest standard; accurately and efficiently
- A problem solver - able to work around and through problems and issues
- Able to provide own tools apart from more specialist company tools which would be issued where required
- Hold a Full UK driving Licence or equivalent
