We are looking for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer with experience with ADCs to join our global technology client based in Cambridge.


Our client is a very successful developer of products that are critical for enabling connectivity for people, networks and machines. To enhance their growing IC Design team in Cambridge, they are seeking a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer with the skills and enthusiasm to deliver robust, high performance custom ICs. This role will involve developing ASICs for Ultra-Stable Reference Oscillator (TCXO, OCXO) applications requiring critical high stability and low-noise designs for ultra low-phase-noise oscillators.

The Senior Analog IC Design Engineer will be responsible for activities such as:

  • Designing and implementing mixed signal circuits, including analog and digital components, from concept to production including all the following ADCs, DACs, Opamps, LDOs, Bandgaps and preferably PLLs
  • Developing and simulating circuit designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Cadence, SPICE).

Requirements include:

  • An established background within Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design
  • Prior experience / knowledge of architectures used in A/D converter (ADC) design
  • A University degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) within Electronics Engineering or similar
  • A can-do attitude and excellent team working skills
  • Excellent communication skills – this is key!
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
