About The Team
Our Data Analytics team is on an exciting journey to build a scalable, well-structured, and high-quality data ecosystem that empowers our strategic workstreams in marketing, customer experience, product and integrations. But our impact goes far beyond that. We support a wide variety of internal teams including Finance and HR, ensuring that every part of the business has the data they need to make informed decisions.
We're in the process of standardizing our data practices, optimizing our reporting tools, and centralizing business logic, creating a huge opportunity to make a lasting impact. As part of this team, you'll have the chance to work on diverse projects, collaborate across departments, and develop expertise in modern data technologies and best practices.
We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to be a foundational pillar of this transformation. You will not just contribute to our data ecosystem; you will own and critical components and some best practices of our data landscape.

Your Contribution
- Architect and own the end-to-end data models that power our most critical business domains, from finance to product usage
- Lead the technical migration of business-critical legacy logic into a scalable, well-tested and automated dbt environment
- Lead the design and development of a business-wide semantic layer, creating a single source of truth for key business metrics and empowering stakeholders with consistent, reliable data
- Partner proactively with stakeholders in finance,HR, product, engineering and marketing to move beyond requirements gathering. You will translate ambiguous business problems into robust, actionable data marts
- Maintainour data modeling and warehousing best practices within BigQuery, making informed decisions on trade-offs between cost, performance and complexity
- Champion data quality by designing and implementing comprehensive testing and validation frameworks within dbt to build cross-company trust in our data.
- Produce clear and thorough documentation for all models, transformations, and validation procedures.
- High proficiency in SQL and established data warehousing and modeling techniques, with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and well-documented queries for complex transformations
- Demonstrated experience designing and building scalable and modular dbt projects, leveraging advanced features like custom macros, incremental models and considered project structuring to solve complex business challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner with data users across the business, translate ambiguous needs into technical plans, and clearly articulate the business value of your work to diverse audiences
- A thorough approach to ensuring data accuracy and quality with experience developing and implementing robust data validation procedures and tests
- Experience with cloud data warehouses like BigQuery with a focus on optimizing data models for cost, performance and long-term maintainability
- Experience using Python to thoughtfully supplement SQL and dbt, particularly for complex data processing and automation tasks
- Experience applying data modeling to solve specific business problems such as in product usage analytics to deliver actionable insights
