You will work closely with analysts to understand their requirements and ensure solutions meet their needs. You will partner with platform and operations teams to maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance analytical pipelines. You will mentor colleagues on analytics engineering best practices and contribute to a culture of quality and reusability across the data function.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain dbt models that transform raw data into trusted datasets for analytics and business intelligenceImplement data quality tests and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliabilityOptimise query performance using effective data modelling and materialisation strategiesCreate clear documentation and data dictionaries for analytical modelsEstablish version control and CI/CD processes for analytics codeSupport self-service analytics by building reusable, high-quality data modelsMentor analysts on coding standards, software engineering best practices, and analytics workflowsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutionsRequirementsStrong SQL skills with experience in complex data transformationsExpertise with dbt and modern analytics engineering toolsSolid understanding of dimensional modelling and data warehousing conceptsExperience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for analyticsKnowledge of data testing frameworks and quality assurance practicesProficiency in Python for data analysis and automationExperience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platformsExcellent communication and documentation skillsBenefits25 days of annual leave (plus bank holiday entitlement)Private Medical InsuranceLife AssuranceFantastic Colleague Discounts on Tech with Currys and iD MobileAccess to Champion Health (Wellbeing App)Hybrid Working (with an expectation to meet in person 2-4 times per month)Join our team and we’ll support your career development with ongoing training and new opportunities.As the biggest recycler and repairer of tech in the UK, we’re in a position to make a real impact on people and the planet.
