Techniche Global are supporting our defence contractoras they seek a Senior and Principal Mechanical Systems Engineer to support their major infrastructure projects at Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth.

Babcock are delivering a £750million long-term programme ofMajor Infrastructure Projects(MIP) at Devonport, delivering substantial upgrades to upgrade and expand the dockyard’s infrastructure to support current and future Royal Navy operations.

They are currently seeking a Senior and Principal Mechanical Systems Engineer with building services experience to support this on an initial 6 month contract with scope to extend. Details as follows:

Principal Mechanical Systems Engineer – Up to £78.00 per hour Umbrella PAYE (Inside IR35)
Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer – JP14586 – Up to £68.00 per hour Umbrella PAYE (Inside IR35)

In this role you will lead Mechanical Building Services projects delivered by subcontractors, on behalf of the MOD. The role ensures that outsourced designs meet technical, regulatory, and business requirements while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The company isseeking specialists in delivering Mechanical Services for large scale, highly regulated building projects.

Experience with dealing with stakeholders, reviewing design documents with strong knowledge in building regulations and legislation is required.

The role will ideally be on site 2 days/week with flexibility dependant on individual circumstances.
