Senior Associate – Employee-Owned Consultancy


Location: Manchester (Flexible/Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex design projects, ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence.
  • Help lead and inspire a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
  • Develop long-term client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Mentor junior engineers, supporting their development and career progression.
  • Contribute to company-wide initiatives aimed at improving processes and technical capabilities.
  • Ensure QA processes are followed and oversee the approval of key deliverables.


What You Will Have:

  • A STEM degree (or equivalent) and Chartered Engineer or IEng status.
  • Extensive experience in engineering consulting within fire engineering.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, mentor teams, and drive technical excellence.
  • A gregarious, outgoing personality with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business development skills.
