Due to continued growth, DXC Technology offers an opportunity for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at either our Erskine or Newcastle sites in a Hybrid capacity.

Successful candidates are required to be British Nationals with SC clearance or eligible for vetting, due to the nature of our business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Automate post-build tasks such as configuring SLES and RHEL servers based on environment and region.
• Set up NFS mount points, update network settings like bonding and MTU, apply kernel tuning, configure user limits, and mail settings.
• Manage users, SSH keys, disks, and automate other post-build tasks as needed.
• Create filesystems on free disks, create volume groups (VG) and logical volumes (LV), and update /etc/fstab.

Skills and Experience Required:

Several years of experience with strong knowledge of Ansible and Python.

Experience with configuration on SLES and RHEL systems.

This role can be hybrid from either our Erskine or Newcastle site.
