This rare greenfield opportunity allows a Senior AWS Data Engineer to join at the design stage, working with cutting-edge technologies such as Databricks and Snowflake. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in tackling one of the most complex data pipeline challenges in financial services, collaborating with multiple business teams and gaining exposure to a wide range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

\n

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data - including pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes - ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and security.

\nEssential Skills & Experience\n

\n \n Proven, hands-on expertise with AWS data engineering tools including Glue, PySpark, Athena, Iceberg, Databricks, and Lake Formation.

\n

\n

\n Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for large-scale data processing and analysis.

\n

\n

\n Demonstrated application of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.

\n

\nDesirable Skills\n

\n \n Experience with additional data engineering tools and cloud platforms.

\n Knowledge of machine learning and data science principles.
