Senior Bridge Engineer
as they continue to enhance their bridge design capability and establish itself as one of the leading Bridge teams in the UK. The role is to support their strong pipeline of work with a range of blue-chip clients, often partnering with their Highways and Major Highways teams on projects throughout the UK. The roles would ideally be based out oftheir

or
Leicester
offices,but for the right candidate there is flexibility to be based out of any of their UK regional offices. About the role Typical responsibilities will include: Undertaking bridge design from option study to detailed design, including preliminary design and outline cost estimates Undertaking bridge inspections and assessments Performing design or assessment checking processes Preparation of analytical models, perform analyses and calculations Preparation of reports and H&S risk assessments Supervising and mentoring junior engineers to ensure projects are delivered to high quality and standards Supervising CAD/BIM technicians to prepare technical drawings and models Site visits as required
About you Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate: Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng, MSc or equivalent) Chartered Engineer (CEng ICE or IStructE) or approaching Chartered status Knowledge of DMRB and MCDHW in relation to the design, assessment and operation of highway structures Preparation of Technical Approval documents Knowledge of Eurocodes in relation to the design of bridges and civil structures Experience of designing or assessing steel, reinforced and prestressed concrete bridges as well as other civil structures Conversant with analysis and design software packages, such as Midas, LUSAS, Autodesk SBD etc. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills
