Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Bridge Engineer role
Reporting to the Team Leader you will:
Lead and run design-based projects both in the UK and Internationally, which includes Canada and the Middle East
Complete site visits as and when is needed
Guide and mentor junior engineers during projects and through chartership, if needed
Communicate with clients when required
Aid senior management team with securing new business for the team
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Bridge Engineer
Experience designing either Highway or Rail Bridges
Chartered with the ICE or IStructE
Exposure to large scale UK Infrastructure
Personal skills
The Senior Bridge Engineer role would suit someone who is:
An established leader, or keen to grow into the role
A team player but also able to work independently to time constraints
Adaptable to change
Keen to learn other sectors as and when needed (possibility of secondment to other discipline sectors)
