Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a trusted, highly-respected multidisciplinary consultancy offering specialist design services across civil engineering, planning, and landscape architecture. The Senior Civil Engineer will lead a growing team on a range of residential, commercial, and retail projects, based near Harrogate.

Responsibilities

• Work on a diverse range of projects across the public and private sectors, including Local Authorities
• Complete Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies, reviewing and amending these where appropriate
• Produce Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), Access Roads, Road Alignment, Highways, and Site Design, using software such as AutoCAD and Civils 3D
• Lead high-profile projects from inception through to successful delivery
• Develop, maintain, and manage client relations across the public and private sectors
• Liaise with clients to determine project budgets and realistic timescales
• Represent the company at design team meetings and site visits

Required Skills and Experience

• Hold a Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Be a Chartered Civil Engineer, or actively working to attain Chartership Status
• Extensive relevant experience within a consultancy setting
• Demonstrable experience in Site Design, Drainage Strategies, and Road Alignment for Planning Applications
• Strong competencies in relevant software, including InfoDrainage and Civils 3D

Desirable

• Live near York or be familiar with the region
• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
