Salary: £40,000-£50,000 + Benefits
We are working on behalf of a respected, multi-disciplinary consultancy to source an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing Civil Engineering team. This is a key strategic hire offering the opportunity to contribute to a broad portfolio of development-led infrastructure projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the technical delivery of projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of engineering design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects.
Produce and review technical designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior engineers and technicians.
Oversee and contribute to the preparation of project budgets, feasibility studies, reports, and design assessments.
Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external clients.
Support project delivery to time, cost, and quality benchmarks.
About You
We’re looking for someone who can bring both technical expertise and leadership capabilities to the team.
Required:
Degree-qualified in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Engineering Geology, Soil Mechanics or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in a similar civil engineering role (ideally within a consultancy).
Strong technical background in infrastructure and non-infrastructure design.
Proficiency in key design tools such as AutoCAD, PDS, Civil 3D, Flow, MicroDrainage, BIM, and similar.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience producing reports and presenting ideas clearly.
A collaborative approach and proven ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.Desirable:
Chartered (CEng MICE or equivalent) or actively working towards chartership.
Experience in business development or client engagement.
Familiarity with social and digital platforms for professional engagement.
