Overview

My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Engineering and Planning Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Engineer to join the team based in York.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and have experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications and designs for drainage, roads and site designs using Infodrainage and Civils 3D. It is beneficial for applicants to live near York as you will be required in the office twice a week.

Responsibilities

• Complete, review and amend Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications and detailed SuDS, access roads, road alignment, highways and site design using Infodrainage, AutoCAD, Civils 3D and Causeway Flow.
• Liaise with Clients to discuss project progress, timescales and project budgets.
• Work on varied projects spanning residential, commercial and retail projects for Private and Public Sector Clients and Local Authorities.

Qualifications

• Essential: strong academic background in Civil Engineering and experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications and designs using Infodrainage and Civils 3D.
• Beneficial: ability to commute to York or live nearby (office presence twice per week).
• Proficiency with Infodrainage, AutoCAD, Civils 3D and Causeway Flow.
• Excellent communication with Clients regarding project progress, timescales and budgets.
