Senior Civil Engineer - Derby

I'm partnering with a well-established, award-winning engineering consultancy recognised for delivering creative and practical infrastructure solutions across a wide range of sectors. With decades of expertise and an expanding presence in the Midlands, their Derby office is continuing to grow, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to take a leading role in shaping its future.
They're seeking someone with proven design consultancy experience who enjoys working closely with clients and leading the delivery of high-quality infrastructure and development projects. This role offers the chance to combine technical expertise with project management and mentoring responsibilities.

What they're looking for:

• Strong background in UK-based design consultancy across multiple sectors
• Proven client-facing skills with commercial awareness
• In-depth knowledge of Section 278, 38, 185 & 104 agreements
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, InfoDrainage (or similar)
• 5+ years' industry experience with project leadership capability
• Confident communicator with strong organisational and mentoring skills
• Someone who can lead projects from concept through to delivery while maintaining a hands-on design role
