Senior Civil Engineer role based near Leeds. Salary: GBP38,000 – GBP45,000. This is a permanent role with a long-established multidisciplinary consultancy offering bespoke design services for a diverse range of projects across civil engineering, planning and landscape architecture. The candidate will be capable of leading a growing team across residential, commercial and retail projects.

Responsibilities

• Work on a diverse range of projects, across the public and private sectors, including Local Authorities
• Complete, review, and amend Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
• Produce Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), Access Roads, Road Alignment, Highways, and Site Design, using AutoCAD and Civils 3D
• Lead high-profile projects, from inception through to successful delivery
• Forge, maintain, and manage client relations across the public and private sectors
• Liaise with clients to ascertain project budgets and realistic timescales
• Represent the company at design team meetings and site visits

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
• Chartered Civil Engineer, or actively working toward Chartership
• Extensive relevant experience within a consultancy setting
• Experience in Site Design, Drainage Strategies, and Road Alignment for Planning Applications
• Extensive working knowledge of relevant software, including InfoDrainage and Civils 3D

Desirable

• Live locally or be familiar with the region
• Full, valid UK driving licence
