Senior Civil Engineer – Leeds

Permanent | 47,000–£55,000 + Excellent Benefits


We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a leading consultancy’s vibrant Leeds office. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on high-profile, city-shaping projects across mixed-use developments, healthcare, and education sectors.


The Role

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:

  • Independently lead on the delivery of diverse civil engineering projects.
  • Manage client liaison, financial performance, and quality assurance.
  • Mentor and support engineers and technicians, helping to develop design and project information.
  • Work on landmark schemes, including major city-centre redevelopments and significant healthcare projects.


About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience leading and managing projects, including design delivery programmes and resource planning.

Strong design experience, particularly in:

  • Sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) – from concept through to detailed design.
  • Civil 3D modelling for drainage networks.
  • Confidence in liaising with authorities and multidisciplinary design teams.

Ideally, exposure to:

  • Bulk earthworks design.
  • Flood risk assessments.

A commitment to working towards professional chartership with a recognised institution.
