We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

You will take responsibility for the design and coordination of a wide range of civil engineering projects, working closely with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. The role involves both technical expertise and management, providing opportunities to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Design of highways, junctions and foul and surface water drainage systems
• Hydraulic modelling, cut and fill analysis, and infrastructure coordination
• Regular liaison with clients, statutory bodies and other professionals
• Attendance at meetings with clear, effective communication
• Supervising and mentoring less experienced team members

Skills and Experience

• Typically 5 years or more professional experience in civil engineering design
• Working towards, or already holding, Chartered Engineer status (ICE or equivalent)
• Proficient in hydraulic modelling, and experienced in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of relevant design standards and best practice
• Experience with Section 278, Section 38, Section 104 and Section 185 agreements
• Demonstrated experience working with statutory bodies and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to collaborate and support team development
