An established infrastructure and transport planning consultancy with a team of 50 technical professionals is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their Guildford office.

About the Team & Company

You will be joining the Water Team, which consists of six members:

Associate Director
Technical Director
2x Principal Engineers
2x Engineers

The consultancy works across both public and private sectors throughout the UK, delivering a diverse range of projects, including:

Residential, commercial, industrial, retail, and warehouse developments
Energy projects, including wind farms, battery storage, and green parks
Projects range from small-scale developments to large infrastructure schemes

Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, planning, and delivering development schemes. Your technical responsibilities will include:

Producing drainage strategies using InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage
Developing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)
Engaging with section 104, 106, and 98 agreements

Key Qualifications & Skills

✔️ Strong engineering and project management skills
✔️ Experience in Flood Risk Assessments & Drainage Strategies
✔️ Knowledge of Section 104, 106, and 98 agreements
✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
✔️ Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, and other relevant software
✔️ Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
